Q. Question?
in Business Administration and Computing Level 3 and 4 and Call Centre Communications Level 4. I am from New Zealand and would like to secure the job before I make the flights over. Does anybody know of any places that I may start enquiring about now? Thanking you in advance :)
A. Best Answer: People looking for jobs here usually contact one of the "Job Centres".
There are ten of them around the City. If you google "job centre - Bristol" it will give the locations and you can contact them by e-mail.
Q. Question?
This scene took place on a British Airways flight between Johannesburg,South Africa & London. A white woman, about 50 years old, was seated next to a black man. Very disturbed by this, she called the air hostess. "You obviously do not see it then?" she asked. "You placed me next to a black man. I did not agree to sit next to someone from such a repugnant group. Give me an alternative seat.""Be calm please," the hostess replied."Almost all the places on this flight are taken. I will go to see if another place is available."The hostess went away & then came back a few minutes later."Madam, just as I thought, there are no other available seats in Economy Class. I spoke to the captain & he informed me that there is also no seat in Business Class. All the same, we still have one place in First Class."Before the woman could say anything, the hostess continued."It is not usual for our company to permit someone from Economy Class to sit in First Class. However, given the circumstances, the captain feels that it would be scandalous to make someone sit next to someone so disgusting."The Hostess turned to the black guy, & said, "Therefore, Sir, if you would like to, please collect your hand luggage, a seat awaits you in First Class."At that moment, the other passengers, who'd been shocked by what they had just witnessed, stood up & applauded. This is a true story. WELL DONE, British Airways
A. Best Answer: I also give British Airways a grade of A+. They could also have offered her to step out the first door on the left and have a seat, just watch your first step!
Q. Question?
Hello. So on the 7th of august I land on a delta flight from nice france to JFK airport. I fly business class. I then have a 7 hr layover before I go to PDX, (OR.) If I am flying business class on both flights to I have access to the first class lounge? I am 15 and traveling alone, but as an adult. Also, what can I do for 7hrs at JFK? Are there any new/special amenities?
I am flying buisness class on delta back from nice to JFK which is the highest you can go, and then first class to PDX on DELTA
A. Best Answer: I hope you can because my only concern is whether the lounge will allow a person under the age of 18 to enter by themselves. I would try and not say anything but just show your boarding pass.
If you are at the lounge, you can read, watch TV, take advantage of their complimentary beverages and snacks. If you choose to walk around the terminal, see what stores are interesting to shop at.
Q. Question?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1296921/Cameron-sleaze-row-major-Tory-donor-accused-lobbying-ministers-cancel-80m-loan-rival-steel-firm.html
The man who donated almost £750,000 in cash and flights to Cameron's campaign funds thinks so - when he started an email "I am the largest donor to the conservative party" and then went on to call for the loan to Forgemasters to be axed. Downing Street are unable to confirm if Cameron was personally lobbied.
Two questions spring to mind
1. Why was Forgematers loan cancelled when other loans to business weren't?
2. Was Cameron lobbied by the owner of a rival company and donor to the tory party on any one of the 23 flights he accepted?
And what an earth was Nick Clegg doing allowing this to happen in his own back yard? - talk about needing to keep your enemies close and your friends closer!!!

Q. Question?
Is it some sort of hybrid of economy and business class? I know that's what "premium economy" means but I've never heard of "business economy."
A. Best Answer: Unless it's a particular airline that is offering a new class of travel, I have no idea. I've never heard of an airline that offers "business economy class," do you know where you saw or heard of it?
Q. Question?
Still laugh at the Flower Duet from Lakme, used by the currently troubled British Airways (known to many as the 'British Airways song' at the time), and the countless snatchings from Wagner, Mozart et al to make certain products, like Mercedes Benz, first class flights to JFK and expensive jewellery not only 'posh' but 'exclusive'...for the socio-economic ABC1's only.
But after 'The Three Tenors' (Domingo, Carreras and Pavarotti) gigs from the 1990 World Cup Final...obviously to pull the love of football away from the common folk, and hooligans, looks like classical music has been taken on by the weirdest of businesses; hoping to catch the 'stay in' C2DE's. Tesco have another advert in their soap opera-like series of adverts in which we follow a family that live for Club Card Points. The fat husband, longs for a flat screen television, hinting that it would be great to watch the World Cup on, to his surprise his wife says, ?Treat yourself.?
Then, in another moment, he opines for a comfy chair to watch the World Cup. ?Order it.?, his wife says, to his surprise. She further encourages him to buy everything that a stupid, beer-swilling, cretin needs for the duration of the World Cup.
A. Best Answer: (1) Its all been copied from the 'Champions league' football introduction - adding more so-called 'vigour and soundings' as to the event.
(2) All these outlets involved with the 'World Cup' have decided thats the way to go - and the retailers have 'jumped on the band waggon' to show the 'millions of fans' that 'they' are in touch with them on this 'so-called great occasion'. Many women will - with this difficult period of time for them - do as the women in the advert did - 'treat themselves' - this will be 'their time' to get what 'they want' from their husbands/partners - as any 'resistance' will be not be forth coming from these 'cretin football loving' husbands/partners - who will go with the 'flow' of their demands just so's 'they get peace and quiet' on the days of the matches the husbands/partners decide to watch.
So there you have it ... - this comment coming from 'another cretin football fan' who does not want his lovely and much loved wife asking silly/stupid questions as to how the game is played - ie: whats off-side mean - what does a throw-in mean - why did that player get a yellow card etc: - I make no excuses - none at all - I'll have my beer/peanuts/crisps/chocolates and everything else needed to make my 42" TV viewing experience as enjoyable as possible for me and a few selected football loving male friends.
Q. Question?
Hiya i go on holiday on the 8th june my flight is at 6.40
i need to be at the airport for 3.30
does anyone know any airport transfer businesses that are CHEAP that will take us from stafford town to east midlands airport??
xxxx
Can you get the train to EMA at that time? :S
A. Best Answer: you would need to get a train to derby and get the skylink bus from there (the buses are every 30 minutes)
the train takes about 1 hour 20 minutes and they run at 1 minute past the hour and 21 minutes past the hour
to transfer by car - i suggest ringing a few taxi companies and getting quotes and book the cheapest in advance at a fixed price
Q. Question?
Okay so i have just completed sims 2 castaway, and now playing chocolatier (WHICH IS AMAZING) but i go on holiday in like two weeks, and im flying on my own to meet the rest of my family there as i have to stay back for my A levels, but i was just wondering if there is anymore games that are like business/strategy .. where your achieve things by thinking with lots of tasks and stuff to keep me entertained on the flight :)
CHEERS :) x
A. Best Answer: So i see you are into strategy and reward games, here is a list of games i think you will like:
Cooking mama 1 and 2
Tamagotchi corner shop 1,2 and 3
professor layton 1 and 2
diner dash
the Sims 3 (is out soon) in the mean time there is the MY SIMS games (which are GREAT) (my sims party is good)
club penguin elite force is ok but aimed more at the little ones
These are some games i can think of off the top of my head but another game (one of my favorites) that kept me entertained for hours was one of the first out for the Nintendo DS and it is: wario ware touched (basically you play loads of different mini games and they get harder and you have to do like 15-20 and you get 3 lives, its difficult to explain look it up on youtube here is the link :
